Carola Martini Mrs. Carola Martini died in Reno Tuesday. She was born in Lucca, Italy, July 27, 1890, and came to Nevada in 1914. In July 1915 she married George Martini and, they settled in Dayton, where he was engaged in ranching and mining for many years. He retired in 1960 and died in 1963.

Surviving are three sons, Gilbert of Carson City, Giliant of Santa Monica, and Elio Martini of Reno; a daughter, Mrs. Jennie Fladager of Reno; brothers Mose Quilici of Lovelock, Hugo and Louis Quilici of San Francisco, Roy and Renator Quilici of Lucca; Nello Quilici of South America; sisters Nellie Penelli of Redwood City, and Erma Matucci, Orlandini Quilici and Argia Quilici, all of Lucca. Also surviving are five grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held Saturat 10 a.m. in St.

Theresa's CathChurch in Carson City, Rosary will be recited Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Capital City Mortuary. Burial will be in Lone Mountain Cemetery. John Moss John William Moss, 45, of 1600 Yori died Wednesday in a Reno hospital. A native of Austin, he was a lifetime resident of Nevada.

For the past 20 years Mr. Moss had resided in Reno. He is survived by his brother, James, of Reno, and a sister, Florence Fernandes. A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in the Ross, Burke and Knobel Mortuary.

Norton De, minister of the Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic Memorial Gardens. Willoth Stenz Willoth F. Stenz, 54, a former resident of Carson City, died in San Rafael, Tuesday. A native of Santa Cruz, he was a former brewmaster for the Carson Brewing Co.

On the closing of the brewery, he took a similar position with a brewery in Stockton, and later became assistant manager of the Baluer, Schweitzer Hop and Malt of San Francisco. He is survived by his widow, Jean, a son, Kris; niece and nephew Holly and Bruce Neison, all of Novato; sisters, Mrs. Con Shea, of San Francisco, and Mrs. Fred Caviglia, of Burlingame, Calif. Requiem Mass will be offered at 11:30 a.m.

Saturday in St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Carson City. Burial will be in the family plot in the Catholic Cemetery, Carson City. Walton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Wesley Lewis Wesley Lewis, 66, of 2006 Prater Way, Sparks, died Sunday in a Reno hospital.

A retired rancher, he had resided in Nevada for 10 years. He was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by a cousin, Frances Wood, of California. A funeral was conducted today in the 0'Brien-Rogers and Crosby Funeral Home. Burial was in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery.

Ivy Scarpeti Iva Catherine Scarpeti, a resident of Carson City for the past 12 years, died Wednesday in a Reno hospital. A native of Iowa, she was a member of the Sagebrush Garden Club and the Carson-Tahoe Hospital auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Jim of Carson City. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at St.

Paul's Episcopal Church, in Sparks. Private cremation will follow. Walton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call at Waltons Chapel of the Valley in Carson city Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m.

at Mountain View Cemetery in the family plot in the Masonic area. Mrs. Fowler was born in Wells, Sept. 8, 1887, and lived in Sparks, until the death of her husband, Clifford W. Fowler in 1955.

She moved to Santa Barbara in 1959, making her home with her daughter Mrs. Merlyn Anderson. She died after a lingering illness. As Truda Fowler, she was a well known artist, conducting china painting classes at the YWCA during the 1920s. She was active in Red Cross and USO during the war years.

Mrs. Fowler was a member of the original Bowers Mansion Committee, serving as corresponding secretary. She was a life member of Nevada Chapter No. 12, Order of the Eastern Star. Besides her daughter Melva, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs.

Anne Hall of Sparks, and Miss Minnie Devere of Reno, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Nevada Chapter No. 13, OES and the Rev. Orman Roberts of First Methodist Church will officiate. Arrangements are by Walton Funeral Home.

Wheeler Milferd Raymond Wheeler, Reno architect, died unexpectedly Wednesday in Vancouver, B.C. Wheeler, a Reno resident since 1929, had designed many Reno edifices, including the Mountain View Mausoleum, cemetery office and crematory. He was active in Odd Fellowship, being a member of Reno Lodge No. 14, 100F; Reno Emcampment No. 5, Canton Nevada No.

1 and Mother Lodge Camp No. 9. He was born Jan. 31, 1904, in Kenton, Ohio, and attended school there. Surviving are his widow, the former Genevieve Stark, who he married in 1924; a son, Raymond Wheeler of Sparks; two daughters, Margaret Marie Gray of Moscow, Idaho, and Eleanor Kellog of Reno; four brothers, Myron Wheeler of Greenfield, Clifford Wheeler of Oregon City, Carl Wheeler of Bend, and Ernest Wheeler; 12 grandchildren and 1 one great-grandchild.
