NEWS OF RECORD WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7, 2001 OBITUARIES Minnie Lovett Moore Butler Minnie Lovett Moore Butler, 85, died Feb. 27, 2001, at her daughter's residence in Sparks. A native of Tucson, she was born Oct. 21, 1915, to Thomas and Allie Mae (Martin) Moore and had lived in Sparks for the past three years, coming from Sacramento, where she had lived for more than 40 years. Mrs.

Butler was a licensed vocational nurse for more than 40 years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sparks First Ward. Husband, Ed, preceded her in death. Surviving are son, Joseph of Santa Rosa, daughter, Colleen Lee of Sparks; sister, Allie Mae Drazenovich of Lake Elsinore, three grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. No funeral is scheduled. Cremation is under the direction of Reno Memorial Cremation and Burial Society.

A memorial is being established with Circle of Life Hospice, 1575 Delucchi Lane, Suite 214, Reno 89502. Peter Chiotras Visitation for Peter Chiotras, 79, who died March 4, 2001, at his residence, is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Walton Funeral Home, 875 West Second St. A native of San Francisco, he was born Oct. 23, 1921, to Christ and Christina (Papadakos) Chiotras, and had lived in Reno for the past 10 years, coming from San Francisco.

Chiotras owned and operated a grocery store. He was a member of Saint Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church and was a Coast Guard veteran, serving during World War II. He won several state and city awards for small business owners. Surviving are wife, Smaro (Malatra), and sons, Chris and Nick, all of Reno; daughter, Kristina Kokezas of Castro Valley, brother, Nick of Berkeley, sisters, Jennie Arconti and Georgia Bencharsky, both of San Francisco; and three grandchildren. A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m.

Thursday at the church, 4795 Lakeside Drive, with burial at Mountain View Cemetery. Rosalie Hedrick Davis Visitation for Rosalie Hedrick Davis, 89, who died March 4, 2001, is scheduled from 10 to 11:15 a.m. today at Walton Funeral Home, 875 Second with a graveside funeral scheduled for noon at Mountain View Cemetery, 435 Stoker Ave. A native of Independence, she was born Jan. 12, 1912, to Joseph and Estella (Russell) Hedrick and had lived in Reno for the past 12 years, coming from St.

Charles, Ill. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of the South Reno Baptist Church. Husband, Walter, died June 10, 1999. Surviving are daughter, Donna James of Reno; brother, Paul Hedrick of Wisconsin; sister, Winifred Hanson of Missouri; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Randy Alvin Duncan DAYTON Randy Alvin Duncan, 48, died March 2, 2001, at his residence. A native of Lakeport, he was born Feb. 24, 1953, to Wallace and Joy (Atkinson) Duncan and had lived in Dayton for the past year, coming from Placerville, and Somerset, Calif. Duncan worked in the construction industry. He attended El Dorado Junior Academy, and graduated from Rio Lindo Academy, both in California.

Surviving are mother, Joy Tash and sister, Denise Hunter, both of Diamond Springs, and sisters, Nora Jean Marginean 1 of Pollock Pines, Marilyn Loveridge of Carmichael, and Jeneille Strong of San Francisco. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Placerville Seventh-day Adventist Church, Placerville, under the direction of FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory, Carson City. Thomas Michael Felbob Thomas Michael Felbob, 49, died March 3, 2001, at Washoe Medical Center. A native of Oakland, he was born July 27, 1951, to Robert Anton and Ann M.

(Krapa) Felbob and had lived in Reno for most of his life. Felbob was an automobile glass installer. He graduated from Reno High School in 1969 and was a member of the Catholic church. His parents preceded him in death. Surviving are daughters, Breanna L.

and Dianna L. Felbob, and sister, Mary McClelland, all of Reno; one grandchild, one niece, two aunts and an uncle. A private memorial service will be held. Cremation is under the direction of Reno Memorial Cremation and Burial Society. A memorial is being established with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 1939 Harrison Suite 207, Oakland, 94612.

John Stanley Frey John Stanley Frey, 81, died March 4, 2001, at his residence. A native of Baker, he was born April 25, 1919, to John C. and Leota B. (Grant) Frey and had lived in Reno for the past 48 years, coming from Merced, Calif. Frey was a truck driver for Arco Petroleum and Richfield Oil.

He also worked as a police officer in Merced. He was a Navy veteran, serving in the Asian Pacific as a seaman, first class. He was awarded the Victory Medal. He was involved with the Boy Scouts and was a member of the Our Savior Lutheran Church, Sparks. Surviving are wife, Erna, and daughter, Emily Helseth, both of Reno; son, John of Longville, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. No funeral is scheduled. Cremation is under the direction of Walton's Sparks Funeral Home with inurnment at Mountain View Cemetery. Philip Rodney Ronzone Philip Rodney Ronzone, 57, died Feb.

23, 2001, in Los Angeles. A native of Loma Linda, he was born Feb. 9, 1944, to Philip C. and Marionne Eloise (Hartline) Ronzone and had lived in Los Angeles since 2000, coming from Scottsdale, where he moved to in 1989, coming from the Tahoe area, where he had lived for 25 years. Ronzone was a career counselor.

He coached Pop Warner Football and Little League Baseball from 1978 to 1982. He was a member of the South Lake Tahoe Planning Commission from 1973 to 1976 and was a member of the Lake Tahoe Kiwanis Club and on the board of directors from 1971 to 1977 and was president from 1975 to 1976. He served in the Marine Corps from 1961 to 1965 and graduated from South Tahoe High School. His parents preceded him in death. Surviving are sons, Tony of Scottsdale, Craig of Carson City and Wayne of San Diego; daughter, Tara Ronzone and son, Philip, both of Sacramento, brother, Steve of Sausalito, sister, Jamey Ronzone of Palo Alto, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, Lake Parkway, Stateline, Nev. Elizabeth Nell Judd Jesch Elizabeth Nell Judd Jesch, 30, died March 3, 2001, at her residence. A Reno native, she was born May 20, 1970, to Robert Burns and Leila (Ritchie) Judd and was a lifetime resident of Reno. Mrs. Jesch was a service representative for Nevada Bell.

Her father died in 2000. Surviving are husband, Paul and daughter, Meghan Jesch, both of Reno; mother, Leila Judd of Sparks; and brother, Robert S. Judd of Verdi. A memorial service is scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday at the Lord of Mercy Lutheran Church, 3400 Pyramid Way, Sparks.

Cremation is under the direction of Ross, Burke Knobel Mortuary, Sparks. William Oliver Lunsford HAWTHORNE Visitation for William Oliver Lunsford, 81, who died March 1, 2001, is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Gunter's Funeral Home, 10th and streets. A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8th and A streets, with burial at the Hawthorne Cemetery.

Flora Beeton Olson CARSON CITY Entombment for Flora Beeton Olson, 82, who died March 2, 2001, is scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Mountain 435 Stoker View Mausoleum, Reno, under the direction of O'Brien-Rogers and Crosby Funeral Home, Reno. A native of Utah, she was born Jan. 6, 1919, to George and Theresa (Timmerman) Beeton and had lived in Carson City for the past 10 years, coming from Reno, where she lived since 1958. Mrs.

Olson worked for Nevada Bell as a head dining service assistant. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Husband, Varian, died in 1967. Surviving are stepson, Warren Olson of Pleasant Hill, sister, Violet Akers of Carson City; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two nephews. John A.

Osterholtz John A. Osterholtz, 83, died March 4, 2001, at Hearthstone of Northern Nevada, Sparks. A native of St. Louis, he was born May 28, 1917, to John H. Theresa (Addor) Osterholtz and had lived in Reno for the past seven years, coming from Bella Vista, Ariz.

A native of Jacksonville, he was born June 28, 1923, to Ellsworth D. and Carloyn (Meggison) Hembrough and had lived in Silver Springs since 1980, coming from San Leandro, Calif.

Hembrough was a window shipping manager and a member of the Silver Springs Christian Center. Brothers, Kenneth, Dale, Gerald, Ray and Floyd, sister, Helen Copley and half sister, Virginia Schramm, preceded him in death. Surviving are son, Kenneth Wayne and daughter, Donna Hembrough, both of Silver Springs; daughter, Linda Monroe of South Fork, sisters, Muriel Suter of Waverly, Donna Gutekunst and half brothers, Bobby Joe and Harland Thomas, all of Jacksonville; brothers, Ralph Hembrough of Springfield, Ill. and Howard Hembrough of Washington state; and one grandchild. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m.

Saturday at the church. Cremation is under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home and Crematory, Fallon. Robert Duane Hughes Visitation for Robert "Bobby" Duane Hughes, 24, who died March 3, 2001, is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today with a funeral at 1 o'clock at the LDS Church Mount Rose Fourth Ward, 4751 Neil Road.

A Reno native he was born May 17, 1976, to William Jerome and Debra Ann (South) Hughes and was a lifetime Reno resident. Hughes worked in automobile sales. He was a graduate of Galena High School and attended Truckee Meadows Community College, the University of Nevada, Reno and the University of Phoenix, working on a degree in business administration. He held a black belt in karate and was a member of National Black Belt Society. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Surviving are parents, brothers, William Russell, Jerome Daniel, Seven Samuel, Sean Paul, Thomas Kolby, John Enoch and Kerry Andrew and sisters, Danielle Adele Gould, Traelle Ann Hughes and Debra Louise Fowers, all of Ogden, Utah; and grandparents, Duane NEED LABOR? A native of New York, she was born July 24, 1926, to Jose and Gloria Ruiz, and had lived in Sparks for the past 17 years, coming from Detroit. She worked for the state of Ruiz Michigan for several years. She was a member of the Catholic faith. Sister, Carmen Casillas, preceded her in death. There are no known survivors.

A private funeral will be held. Cremation is under the direction of O'Brien-Rogers and Crosby Funeral Home. William Earl Trent TRUCKEE, Calif. William Earl Trent, 76, died March 5, 2001, at Tahoe Forest Hospital. A native of Tulare, he was born Dec.

30, 1924, to Lou Luther and Bessie Irene (Chester) Trent and had lived Truckee for the past three years, coming from Folsom, San Jose and Santa Cruz, Calif. Trent owned a lamp and shade store and Trent Drive-in Restaurant in Watsonville, Calif. He was a World War II Army veteran and graduated from Soquel High School, Santa Cruz. Brother, Jim, preceded him in death. Surviving are daughters, Pamela Hilton of Reno and Debbie Craven of Watsonville, son, John of Steilacoom, sister, Millie Ball of Longmont, six grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.

A celebration of his life is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday at High Sierra Seniors Complex, 10040 Estates Drive.
